       WinTV-PVR-500MCE brings TV watching with background recording to 
        Windows XP Media Center Edition. Watch one channel while recording 
        another with the WinTV-PVR-500MCE and Windows XP Media Center 
        Edition 2005. WinTV-PVR-500MCE contains two complete TV tuners, 
        each with their own hardware MPEG encoder!
       Ever want to watch the ball game while your favorite late night TV 
        show is on? Well, with WinTV-PVR-500MCE, you do not have to chose 
        which show to watch. Just set the Media Center Edition to record 
        that late night TV show while you continue to watch the ball game, 
        with full PVR capabilities. Pause live TV, replay and skip forward, 
        all while your other TV show continues to be recorded to your PCs 
        hard disk.
       For Windows XP Media Center Edition users:
         - Watch TV with the MyTV button on MCE
         - Watch one TV show while recording another to disk using the 
           WinTV-PVR-500s built in dual hardware MPEG encoders.
         - Record two TV shows at once. 
    Includes Dual 125 channel cable ready TV tuners, each with a dbx-TV 
      stereo decoder (Nicam stereo decoder in Europe), Dual high quality 
      MPEG2 video and audio encoders based on the Conexant -416 MPEG 
      encoder, One back panel composite/s-video plus stereo audio inputs to 
      connect to VCR, camcorders or set top boxes, Two on-board A/V 
      headers, to connect to two more A/V sources (A/V cable set not 
      included), One FM radio receiver.
      Note: the WinTV-PVR-500MCE does not come with a remote control or a 
            software DVD decoder. If you are building Media Center systems, 
            please check with Microsoft for a list of MCE certified remote 
            controls and DVD decoders.

   when you want. Watch TV on your PC screen, in a window or full screen,   
   digitally record your TV shows or pause live TV and create your own      
   instant replay. You can also burn your TV programs onto CD-ROM or DVD    
   (CD burner or DVD burner is required).                                   
   The WinTV-PVR-500 supports data rates from 1Mbits/sec up to 12Mbits/sec, 
   so you decide how much hard disk space your videos will consume (the     
   lower the data rates, the less disk space your videos will use, but with 
   lower video quality).                                                    
 * WinTV-PVR includes WinTV-Scheduler and WinTV-Editor.  Trim your videos,  
   cut out segments, put them back together, all without losing any video   
   quality with our WinTV-Editor! With WinTV-Scheduler, you can control 
   your TV recording on a daily, weekly or random schedule. Automatically 
   record TV programs so you'll never miss your TV shows again!

   PCs CD-RW burner to create Video CDs or SVCDs, with up to one hour of 
   TV video. Record TV program episodes to CD-RW disks, and then watch them 
   on your laptop when you travel. Or play them through your home DVD 
   player in your living room.                
   If you have a DVD burner in your PC, use the WinTV-PVRs MPEG files with 
   the included MovieFactory to author your own home DVDs. You can also    
   record your home videotapes with WinTV-PVR, and then burn them onto DVD.
