The SMC family of EZ Switch 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Switches
(SMC8505T & SMC8508T) is the perfect solution for bottlenecks at
the core of a network. Bottlenecks are the inevitable result of
data-intensive applications and the proliferation of new users.
SMCs EZ Switch 10/100/1000 provides a seamless migration to higher-
speed networking while solving bandwidth issues. It is designed to
allow simultaneous transmission of multiple packets via an internal
high-speed data channel.
These gigabit switches are designed for Plug and Play installation,
with auto-MDIX on every port. This means that no more crossover
cables are required, every port can either be connected to a PC
station or another switch for network expansion. With FCC Class B,
it is ideal for SOHO applications. The EZSwitches fulfill todays
diverse networking needs.
